What Needs to Change
Axe the Tax
The carbon tax hits hardworking families and businesses in St. Catharines where it hurts most—right in their wallets. This isn’t a climate change plan; it’s a tax plan. We are burdening Canadians with an unaffordable tax structure while simultaneously shutting down an economy that was built on natural resources. Worse yet, we are driving investment out of Canada and into the United States. It’s time to scrap the carbon tax once and for all.
Instead of punishing taxpayers, we should focus on investing in research, innovation, and green technology to reduce emissions while protecting both the environment and the economy. But the carbon tax is just one part of the broader tax burden that Canadians face. Our goal is to help Canadians bring home bigger paychecks and boost domestic production by lowering taxes on work, investment, and Canadian-made goods. By reducing taxes, we can grow the economy and ensure a brighter future for all.
Fix the Budget
It’s time to rein in government spending and balance the budget through sound fiscal management. Taxpayer dollars must be spent wisely and responsibly, not wasted. Future generations should not be burdened with the excessive debt we face today. We are committed to identifying wasteful practices and inefficiencies, ensuring that every federal dollar coming to St. Catharines directly benefits its residents.
A key priority will be developing a plan to reduce the national debt, safeguarding our financial future, and fostering a stable economy where both St. Catharines and future generations can thrive. With healthcare as a top concern for Canadians, it is unacceptable that we are spending as much on debt interest as on federal healthcare transfers to the provinces. Under the Trudeau Liberal government, the national debt has doubled—exceeding the combined total of all previous Canadian prime ministers. Addressing this reckless spending is crucial to ensure that essential services, like healthcare, receive the support they urgently need.
Build the Homes
We are committed to advocating for policies that promote the construction of more affordable housing units. Home ownership has long been one of the most important ways for Canadians to build wealth and secure their future. Unfortunately, for many younger generations, home ownership now feels like a distant dream. Under Trudeau’s approach, Canadians risk becoming permanent tenants of the state housing, with government land being leased to developers rather than sold outright.
Our vision is to empower Canadians to achieve home ownership by cutting the red tape that is driving up the cost of building homes. We will incentivize the construction of affordable housing by offering federal rewards to municipalities that exceed production targets. It's time to turn the dream of home ownership back into a reality for all Canadians.
Stop the Crime
Liberal catch-and-release bail legislation is being lived out on the streets of our communities. Law-abiding citizens are increasingly falling victim to repeat violent offenders, while our police face significant challenges in maintaining public safety.
We must ensure that our law enforcement officers have the necessary resources and support to effectively protect our streets. Our police are bravely risking their lives for our safety; it’s time we stand with them. By implementing tougher measures on crime, we will create a safer environment for all residents of St. Catharines and support our police in their critical work.
“I believe in striking a balance between wise spending and extending a helping hand to those in need. It's about empowering people while also encouraging self-reliance.
I'm convinced that the best way to keep Canadians flourishing is by giving them the freedom to pursue their dreams in a competitive economy where innovation and entrepreneurship thrive. When folks can enjoy the fruits of their labour, it spurs them on to keep striving for success.
I firmly support the right of Canadians to own property. Owning a home or land isn't just about having a roof over your head—it's about building a secure and stable future for yourself and your loved ones.
I celebrate our differences while honouring our traditions, bringing together people from all walks of life to work towards making Canada stronger.
I believe in Canada's sovereignty and unity, guided by democratic principles and the rule of law outlined in our Constitution.
Every human life is valuable and deserving of dignity. I stand for equality, ensuring that all Canadians are treated fairly, regardless of where they come from or their circumstances.”

Be the catalyst for change. Let's win this together!
Meeting Pierre Poilievre and his wonderful wife, Anaida, at the Conservative Party’s policy convention in September 2023 was the perfect way to end an inspiring weekend. What truly convicted me to seek this nomination was witnessing Pierre's strong, principled leadership and hearing firsthand his vision for Canada. His ability to articulate clear, common-sense solutions and his passion for defending Canadian values showed me that Pierre is the leader our country needs.
